Nestled in the peaceful landscape of Xibrakë, just outside Tirana, Hotel Xibrakë is envisioned as a contemporary retreat where modern architecture meets the natural character of the Albanian countryside. The project is designed to provide a calm, refined hospitality experience while maintaining a strong connection to its surroundings.
The architecture is composed of clean horizontal volumes that step gently across the site, creating generous terraces filled with vegetation. These planted outdoor spaces soften the building’s geometry and establish a dialogue between the architecture and the landscape, allowing nature to become an integral part of the guest experience.
Natural materials such as warm timber cladding, light-colored stone, and expansive glazing define the building’s identity. Floor-to-ceiling windows maximize daylight and frame views toward the surrounding greenery, while deep overhangs provide shade and improve thermal comfort throughout the year.
