The Garda Tower is a new hinge between the landscape and the city. Situated at the interface between the University District and Parku i Tiranes, the new tower, is a high point from which the urban landscape becomes visible. A slender new player in Tirana’s skyline, its figure is achieved through the interplay of geometric structure and flowing form.

Ensamble

The tower forms an ensemble with the newly planned buildings opposite, creating a spatial field between them. The relation between urban space and building is expressed as a spatial sculpture: A mineral structure and a curved glass volume intersect.
